Gather & Give Thanks: A Farmhouse Guide to Grateful Living

There’s something special about November at Blueberry Hills Ranch. The air sharpens, the trees blush gold, and everything seems to slow into a rhythm of gratitude. Around here, thankfulness isn’t reserved for a single day — it’s a daily practice woven into our work, our meals, and the quiet in-between moments.
We find gratitude in the simplest things — the sound of the gate creaking open, the smell of bread baking, the sight of the donkeys trotting through fog. Gratitude, we’ve learned, is less about having and more about noticing.
Small Ways to Practice Ranch-Style Gratitude
Light a candle at dinner (We do this every Friday!) and go around the table naming one thing you’re thankful for.
Write a note to someone who’s made your year brighter — even if they don’t expect it.
Step outside in the morning, take five deep breaths, and thank the day before it begins.
Cook something with intention. Taste each step. Smell the memory forming.
The Taste of Gratitude — Straight from Our Kitchen
Food is one of our favorite ways to express gratitude — it gathers people, slows time, and warms hearts faster than words ever could. This month, we poured that same heart into our newest project: the Blueberry Hills Ranch E-Cookbook.
It’s packed with our favorite over 23 seasonal, wholesome ranch recipes — everything from cozy soups and skillet bakes to simple plant-based treats for cold nights. Each one was tested right here in our farmhouse kitchen.
For a limited time, we’re offering it for $12 (regularly $17) as our way of saying thank you for being part of the ranch family.
👉 Get your copy of the BHR E-Cookbook below — and start filling your home with the flavors of gratitude.
What’s one small thing you’re thankful for today? Tell us in the comments — we’d love to read every single one.
